There are many dishes that are taken as Indian breakfast. All these Indian dishes are very favorite to all and sundry because of their excellent taste. Among all these varied kinds of dishes Aloo Poha has a special attraction of its own. The procedure that is obtained to prepare this dish is also very simple and that is why it is very easy for anyone to try his or her hand out in this dish. This Indian dish is specially taken during the time of breakfast. Aloo Poha is not a side dish; this is a main dish and it does not require any kind of side dish.

The ingredients that are needed to prepare Aloo Poha are as follows:
- 1 Potato
- 1 Onion
- 2 Cups of Poha (this actually means beaten rice)
- 2 Green chillies
- 1 Tea spoon Chana Daal
- 1 Tea spoon Urad Daal
- 1 Sprig curry leaf
- ¼ Tea spoon of mustard seeds
- 4 Table spoon oil
- 1 Lemon
- 1 Pinch turmeric powder
- Few Corainder leaves
- Salt
Now, when you have arranged for all the ingredients you should know about the procedure to make the dish. The steps of procedure are:
- At first you need to drench the Poha in water and clean it properly.
- Salt, turmeric powder are added to the dish.
- Potato should be cut in cube shapes and onion, chillies and Corainder leaves are also added to the mixture.
- After this oil is to be heated and Chana Daal, Urad Daal, peanuts, mustard seeds are poured into oil and heated till they crackle.
- Potato is added and after that chillies as well as onions are also poured into the mixture.
- All the mixture is heated for five to seven minutes.
- After cooling the mixture lemon juice is added to it.
Thus, Aloo Poha is prepared and it is only left for you to serve the dish to someone special.
