The ingredients that are required to prepare the dish are easily available in all the major markets throughout the whole world. The ingredients that are needed to prepare Gobhi Paratha are as follows:
- 4 Cups of Whole Wheat flour (this is known in India as “Atta”)
- Coriander leaves (provided they should be finely chopped)
- 2 Cups of sliced cauliflower (this is known as “Gobhi” in India)
- 1 or 2 chopped green chillies
- 1 Chopped ginger
- Spices such as red chili powder and Garam Masala along with salt as required
- ½ Tea spoon of Ajwain
- Butter or oil for the purpose of frying
As you have arranged for all these ingredients, you need to know the whole process to prepare the dish. The simple that are required to be taken for preparing Gobhi Paratha are as follows:
- You have to prepare the must needed dough out of Atta (wheat flour) just like it is done in case of various kinds of breads and Parathas.
- Cauliflower, green chili, coriander leaves as well as ginger is added to the mixture.
- Garam Masala, chili powder and other spices along with salt is added to fill up the Parathas.
- Two Parathas are taken and they are alternatively heated on a Tawa (oven).
- The Parathas are buttered in a generous manner.
- The Parathas are cooked until they become golden brown in color.
- Gobhi Paratha is generally served along with yogurt and Chutney.
