The ingredients that are needed to prepare Moong Dal Vada are easily available in all the major markets throughout the whole world. All the ingredients that are required to prepare this dish are as follows:
- 300 gms Moong Daal
- 25 gms of chopped Coriander leaves
- 1 Star anise
- 5 gms of cumin seeds
- 8 to 9 chopped green chillies
- At about 50 gms of onion
- Salt for the taste
- Oil to cook and fry
The procedure that is followed to prepare the dish is really very simple. The following steps are to be obtained in order to prepare Moong Dal Vada:
- The Moong Daal is taken and soaked in water for at least two hours.
- The soaked Daal has to be taken for the purpose for grinding. You need to grind it until a good paste is prepared.
- The paste is to be blended with chopped onions, chillies, cumin seeds and Coriander leaves.
- Salt and its amount have to be checked properly.
- After that you have to fry the items till they take golden color.
- After everything is prepared, green chutney is the best item with which these are served.
