Chocolate Chip Cookies

Cookies are served in all kinds of social functions and also in major business seminars. These are also very nutritious foods as these are mainly made of carbohydrate and fat. The nutritional value of the cookies have made it a favorite among the parents. They often buy cookies for their children. Cookies are also very tasty. The wonderful taste of the cookies have made them favorite among the kids. Among all the cookies chocolate chip cookies are very popular for their taste and nutritional value. Different qualities of chocolate chip cookies can be found in the retail food shops in India. These are very hygienically prepared and also very carefully preserved. Not only in India, chocolate chip cookies are very popular in every part of the world.


The ingredients of chocolate chip cookies

  • 3 cups chocolate chips
  • 2 cup walnuts coarsely chopped
  • 11/4 teaspoonful baking soda
  • 2 1/2 cup flour
  • ½ teaspoonful salt
  • 11/2 teaspoonful vanilla
  • 2 eggs big in size
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks)


Process of making chocolate chip cookies

Before you start the process of making chocolate chip cookies at first measure all the ingredients. The butter is to be brought at the room temperature. The dry ingredients are to be sifted together for a number of times. The butter is to be beaten in the mixing bowl. A fat beater is required for this purpose which is to be applied at a medium speed. Both kind of sugar is to added with the butter. The creaming process of butter and sugar will run for at least 5 minutes. The eggs are to be mixed with the vanilla in a separate bowl. The mixture of vanila and eggs is now to be mixed with the mixture of butter and sugar. The process of beating will now be continued at a medium speed. The mixture now prepared will now be looking fluffy. It will look like whipped cream cheese. Now the speed of the beater will be kept on a slow speed and other dry ingredients are to be mixed in it. Chocolate chips and wall nuts are now be mixed with this mixture.

Golf ball sized balls are to be made now from the beaten up mixture. These balls are to be placed on the cookie sheet very close to each other. The balls are to be kept in the refrigerator for an entire night. The refrigerated balls are now ready to be baked. These balls are to baked at 400 o C for 8-10 minutes. Now chocolate chip cookies are now ready to be served.
