While you can always taste a glass of this mouth watering Aam Panna at any of your nearby drinks house, you can also consider preparing the same at your home. Aam Panna recipe is pretty simple and it is not at all difficult to make. The ingredients of Aam Sorbat are readily available and you can delight your family and friends by making this Indian drink.
The ingredients of mango sorbat (Aam Panna):
- 6 medium sized green mango
- 3 and 3/4th cup water
- 1 tea spoon of dry roasted and grounded cumin seed
- 1/2 tea spoon of red chili powder
- 1 tea spoon of salt
- 3 table spoon of sugar
- 3 table spoon of chopped Mint Leaves
- 12 crushed ice-cubes
How to make Aam Panna/ Aam Sorbat:
Place the mangoes with water to cover in a sauce-pan and bring it. Then simmer for 10 minutes. Next, drain off the water and then peel, stone and pulp the mango using a spoon. Then you are required to place the pulp in a deep bowl. Now add water, sugar, salt, chili and cumin and whisk it thoroughly. You are required to stir in the mint and whisk again. Then pour it into a jug and serve chilled with crushed ice.
