Angoor Sharbat

One of the very popular Indian drink India is Angoor Sharbat. Angoor Sharbat is more or less available all over the country. This Indian drink is prepared from the grapes. Grapes Sharbat, the other name of Angoor Sharbat, is a real treat for anyone if it is prepared in the right way. You can try a glass of Angoor Sharbat at any time of the day. This tasty drink is sure to refresh you and bring back your energy level when you will feel weary and tired.

This popular Indian drink is generally available in all the drink houses. Though you can readily get Angoor Sharbat over there, but if you are a bit enthusiastic, you may also try to prepare this drink even at your home.


Angoor Sharbat recipe is quite simple and it is not really difficult to make it at home. You can easily find the ingredients of Angoor Sorbat and can give a nice surprise to your family members by preparing grapes Sharbat at home.

Ingredients required for making Angoor Sharbat:

  • Some pieces of orange zest
  • 1/4 tea spoon of Cardamom Seeds
  • 4 Cloves
  • 6 cups Grape Juice
  • 1/4th cup Honey
  • 3-inch piece of Cinnamon Stick
  • 2 cups sparkling Water


How to make Angoor Sharbat:
At first tie the zest, cardamom seeds and cloves in a small piece of cheese cloth. Then place the juice and honey in a large stainless steel pan and bring it near the boiling point over moderate heat. Next remove the pan from the heat. Add the spice bag and cinnamon stick, cover it, and set aside until the juice cools down. Remove the spice bag and cinnamon stick and chill the solution. Add water before serving.
